The promoting institution (sponsoring body) of Dr. D. Y. Patil Dnyan Prasad University, Pune is Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society having its long lasting presence in the field of educational and social commitment.

Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society (formerly Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidya Pratishthan Society), established under the visionary leadership of Hon. Dr. P. D. Patil, with a noble mission to provide accessible, inclusive, and quality education particularly to deserving students from underprivileged and marginalized communities.

Over the years, the Society has created a strong academic ecosystem through esteemed institutions of students’ choice offering various programmes across disciplines such as Engineering, Pharmacy, Management, Hotel Management, Arts, Science, Commerce, Education, Law, and Nursing. These institutions are strategically located across Pimpri, Akurdi, and Tathawade campuses of the society in Pune, Maharashtra, and are duly recognized by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by Regulatory Bodies.
